Rochester Kids, together with the Josh Rojas Foundation, supports an annual Ceremony of Remembrance of children who have died. This event is held on the second Sunday in December to help families through the holidays, one of the most difficult times of the year for families who have lost a child. It is held in conjunction with Compassionate Friends. In 2015, 150 individuals attended.
The ceremony features a harpist, soloists, candle lighting, a slide show, refreshments and support.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -- Margaret Mead.
